  1. ASUS Nexus 7

In the competitive world of tablets, the Nexus 7 by ASUS is making a splash. At under 200 dollars, this tablet is meant to rival the Amazon Kindle. It comes with Google’s latest operating system known as Jelly Bean, and a quad-core Tegra 3 processor. The screen is easy to look at, and the images and text come across crisp and vivid.  Not iPad quality, but nothing to quibble about when given the price. It also has a 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera which you can use with any app from the Google Play store.
