    If you spend a lot of time in the Internet, you may have seen some of the <a href="http://consumerist.com/2013/03/06/taco-bell-should-probably-have-told-its-restaurants-about-cool-ranch-doritos-taco-going-on-sale-early/" target="_blank">hullabaloo</a> surrounding the availability of the new Doritos Locos taco from Taco Bell. Originally slated to be released to the hungry masses on March 7, Taco Bell decided to let its Facebook fans know they could actually get it today (the 6th, if you're keeping track), and all we had to do is ask for it. The dissemination of this information to all of Taco Bell's locations was shoddy or nonexistant, however. People reported being turned away, told to come back tomorrow, even when showing proof via the Facebook page that the company is advertising the availability of the taco starting today. Others were told you needed a coupon from the Facebook page. Lucky folks were able to waltz right in and pick one up if their franchise had paid attention.
