Guess who re-entered the Broward Sheriff's Office headquarters this week? If you guessed Ken Jenne, you win.

Jenne, who wasn't welcome at BSO under then-Sheriff Al Lamberti, was in the building on Tuesday. It may have been the first time he's been there since he was removed from office and sent to prison for public corruption.

Sheriff Scott Israel's campaign team turned to Jenne for advice from time to time, campaign negative-ad architect Ron Gunzburger told us previously.

Israel couldn't be reached; he has the flu, his wife said.

I asked Spokeswoman Veda Coleman-Wright who Jenne was there to see. She said that might not be something she could find out. Jenne did stop by the public information office, she said. But that wasn't his ultimate destination.

I also left a message with Jenne.
