Strasburg's comeback is jewel for struggling Nats
The notion of Stephen Strasburg coming back better than before? Seemed almost too good to be true for a Washington Nationals franchise so accustomed to misfortune. Rest assured, Strasburg looks as good as his word. In his first major league start...Tags: Ian Desmond, National League East, Henry Rodriguez, Baseball, Washington Nationals

Associated PressBruce Bochy has already picked the Phillies as his World Series favorite, and that's coming from the manager who knows something about Philadelphia's aces. Dodgers seem to lack grit, and Don Mattingly finds it hard to bear
In the fall leading up to his first season as Dodgers manager, Don Mattingly was asked if he could control his frustration as he relied on players who were unlikely to ever reach the individual heights he reached as a first baseman with the New York...

Dodgers' bosses get points for patience
I don't know Mark Walter, the Guggenheim guy who runs the Dodgers. We had one phone conversation, and I'd rather talk to Jamie McCourt. I've written off Stan Kasten as a blowhard, and while I really like Ned Colletti, we have our disagreements. But...Tags: USA Today, Baseball, Andre Ethier, Matt Kemp, Los Angeles Dodgers
