3. For What it's Worth: Do You Feel a Draft?

Isn’t it just the luck of the Chiefs that they own the top pick in a draft void of that one sure-fire superstar? A year after three potential all-pros were drafted early at quarterback, there may be only one taken in all the first round tomorrow and Geno Smith probably won’t start in his rookie season, let alone go to Hawaii. So, barring something crazy in a trade Kansas City will, most likely, draft an offensive tackle. Hey, you don’t always have to be sexy to be productive.

  9. Miami Marlins: Kevin Slowey's hard-luck winless streak not unique

Kevin Slowey, who is starting Thursday's homestand opener against the Cubs, remains winless despite pitching at least five innings and allowing two earned runs or fewer in each of his first four starts. He can boast a 1.90 ERA through 23 2/3 innings.

China’s Tianlang Guan shot 73 at the Master’s on Thursday which, in and of itself, isn’t overly impressive—until you learn that Guan is 14 years old. That’s 14 as in popping zits and still finding humor in fart jokes---are you kidding me?

  17. How Sam Lacy helped integrate Major League Baseball

Like most films depicting historic accounts of real-life events, the bio-epic "42" carries the immediate disclaimer that it is based on a true story, leaving room for interpretive analysis and creative license. 23. For What it's Worth: Idle thoughts of an active mind

While others read the latest from the New York Times best sellers list---I’m stuck with ‘Know Your Trash’, a step by step directive on how to prepare your refuse for pickup in Tulsa.
