        A hearing date on recently filed charges against three former top administrators at Penn State University is now set.  The Dauphin County Court Administrator's Office says, the preliminary hearing for former Penn State University President Graham Spanier,  former Athletic Director Timothy Curley and  former Vice-President Gary Schultz is scheduled for Thursday morning December 13, 2012 at 9 o'clock.  District Judge William Wenner will hear the case in Courtroom #1 of the Dauphin County Courthouse in Harrisburg.

    UPDATE: Former PSU President Graham Spanier is charged with Conspiracy, Perjury, Endangering Welfare Of Children, Obstruction for his role in the Penn State/ Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal that has rocked the bucolic Happy Valley campus. Attorney General Linda Kelly made the announcement during a press conference today in Harrisburg. Former Assistant Football Coach Jerry Sandusky was convicted of abusing several boys and is serving a 30-60 year sentence at SCI Greene. Spanier is accused of covering up the crimes and not doing anything to prevent more abuse after he initially became aware of the allegations against Sandusky. Kelly said Spanier, former athletic director Tim Curley and retired Penn State vice president Gary Schultz had a "definite interest" in shielding Sandusky. She characterized Spanier's actions, as well as Curley and Schultz', as cowardly acts.
