1. Five Things We Learned in the Ravens 20-13 playoff win over the Texans

1. There is nothing wrong with conceding that Ed Reed and Ray Lewis aren't the players they once were. I don't even think that statement is really all that controversial. No man can outrun the steady march of time, not even the two greatest defensive players of this era. But in a way, I'm more fascinated watching Reed and Lewis now than I was when they were both in their prime. Because they're both still capable of conjuring up a little magic. There is something admirable about watching a great lion dig deep and mount one final, furious charge. Perfection is unnecessary. All that matters is that you live to fight another day.

3. Cameron 'fired up' over criticism of 'courageous' quarterback Flacco

When the Ravens announced after the 2010 season that Cam Cameron would return in 2011, head coach John Harbaugh said that he liked “Cam under fire.” And on Thursday, as the Ravens prepare to face the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round on Sunday, Cameron admitted he was “jacked up” and “fired up” after he defended his oft-criticized quarterback Joe Flacco.

5. Pagano's departure leaves several questions for Ravens to answer

With Chuck Pagano being hired as the Indianapolis Colts' new coach, the Ravens are now looking for their fourth defensive coordinator in five years. Linebackers coach and former New England Patriots defensive coordinator Dean Pees is the front-runner for the job, but there are other questions in the wake of Pagano’s departure.

9. Facing 0-12 Colts brings back memories of the Ravens' 2007 loss to 0-13 Dolphins

The circumstances were slightly different.
The circumstances were slightly different. The 2007 Miami Dolphins were 0-13, not 0-12 like the Indianapolis Colts team that will be at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday. The Ravens were just 4-9 at the time and had dropped seven consecutive games. Today, they...

11. Chargers' Antwan Barnes still has some Baltimore in him

He grew up in South Florida, so naturally, Antwan Barnes had a lot more familiarity with reptiles. Copperheads, cottonmouths and water mocs. Iguanas, 'gators and croc's.
