Ninth in a series exploring the April 26-28 NFL draft. Next: Safeties. This is not a bad crop of defensive tackles. There are several players who should have productive careers at every level of the draft, including in the first round. As many as six...

  5. Matt Vensel's 2012 NFL mock draft -- version 4.0

The 2012 NFL draft is now just over a week away. Free agency has died down, and teams are shifting their focus to the draft to round out their rosters. The Ravens are no exception. 7. Reader Q&A: Dan Pompei's Bears mailbag

I know that the Bears are on the hook for a lot of money with Julius Peppers, but wouldn't it make sense for them to acquire Mario Williams? The Peppers and Williams combination would be unblockable, and would severely limit the high powered offense of Rogers and Stafford. Also, it would require them to keep their TE's at the line to pass protect, rather than killing us the way that Jermichael Finley routinely does. Despite our glaring need for a WR, in my opinion our team is way better with Mario Williams than any other combination of free agents or draft picks, and we'd be set with a good pass rush for several years. Do you agree? -- Jon Litwin, Chicago
