5. Offensive line kept Patriots' Vince Wilfork under wraps

After the havoc Vince Wilfork had wreaked in last January’s AFC championship game, the Ravens paid a good amount of attention to the massive defensive tackle, who looks much larger than his listed size of 6 feet, 2 inches and 325 pounds.

11. Ravens offensive line passes test vs. Patriots

If the Ravens' offensive line keeps progressing, this unit could be very good by the end of the season.
The Baltimore Sun
If the Ravens' offensive line keeps progressing, this unit could be very good by the end of the season. Overall, with the exception of center Matt Birk, the group is still young. But once you throw rookie offensive right tackle Kelechi Osemele and third-...

13. New-look Ravens offensive line faces big challenge

After all the scrutiny on the offensive line this preseason, the uncertainty of which five linemen would start in the season opener, and the surprise when Ramon Harewood ran out of the tunnel with the starters on Monday night, the new-look Ravens offensive line got it done.

15. More on the Eagles' wide-nine defensive alignment

I apologize in advance for my fascination with the "wide-nine" alignment that the Philadelphia Eagles will often use on defense Sunday, but if you are as curious about it as I am, then you probably won’t mind me expounding on it a little further on the blog. And if you’re not as curious, maybe this stat will pique your interest: The Eagles were first in the NFL with 50 sacks in 2011, and they did it by rushing just four players 82 percent of the time, according to the fine folks at Football Outsiders. Trent Cole and Jason Babin combined for 29 of those sacks.

17. The fast, deep Eagles defense will test the Ravens

A few hours ago, I sat down and watched a replay of Sunday’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Cleveland Browns for a new feature from my colleague, Aaron Wilson, and me that will debut in Wednesday’s paper. I came away very impressed with the Philly defense, which played even faster than the Philly offense.
