  3. Texans Steal Win Over Washington Redskins In Overtime

    The Texans new kicker Neil Rackers is proving to fans everywhere that the team made the right decision by keeping him around after training camp. 
Rackers kicked a 35 yard field goal to win the game over the Washington Redskins 30-27. This is the first time the Texans have ever won a game in overtime. 
Quarterback, Matt Schaub passed for a franchise record 497 yards today improving the team to a 2-0 record. Schaub completed 38 of his 52 passes, many of which went to Andre Johnson. 
Johnson had 158 receiving yards and tied a career high with 12 catches. 
This is only the second time in the Texans franchise history that the team has started the season with two wins.
