New movies coming out this weekend – 8/12/2011 – 8/14/2011
Every week new movies are released and it’s my job to tell you which ones are coming out. This week at the theaters, there is an action/comedy (30 Minutes or Less) and a suspense thriller (Final Desination 5). There are also a couple movies that are limited releases only: Senna and Littlerock.
If you want to try something different than just going to the movie theater, then come out to the Orpheum for the Aviation Film Festival. The Orpheum has teamed up with the Kansas Aviation Museum in celebration of aviation history. This festival will be playing three aviation-related movies and will also include a reception with light appetizers, different kinds of beverages, and a silent auction.

30 Minutes of Less : Nick (played by Jesse Eisenberg) is a small town pizza delivery guy whose mundane life collides with the big plans of two wanna-be criminal masterminds. Also starring in this movie includes Danny McBride, Aziz Ansari, Nick Swardson, and Michael Peña.

Final Destination 5: A group of co-workers narrowly escape the collapse of a suspension bridge, only to be hunted down by death itself, coming to collect its due. This suspenseful thriller stars Nicholas D'Agosto, Emma Bell, David Koechner, Tony Todd, Courtney B. Vance.

Movies Opening in Limited Release
Senna
A documentary about Brazilian Formula One racing driver Ayrton Senna, who won the world championship three times.

Local Movie Specials in Wichita
An Aviation Film Festival: The Orpheum is presenting 3 films throughout Saturday, August 13 to celebrate aviation history. The three films that will be playing at the Orpheum include: Flying Tigers (10 am), Dr. Strangelove (2 pm), and Air Force One (7 pm).
