  15. The Kansas African American Museum to give salute to local Tuskegee Airmen

    Wichita, KS &ndash; In the final week of The Kansas African American Museum&rsquo;s Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit the museum will hosts two events to honor local Tuskegee Airmen and Black Aviators. The first of those two events will be a &ldquo;Senior Wednesday,&rdquo; panel discussion on August 17th from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, featuring local Tuskegee Airmen, Dr. Donald Jackson and a panel of local Black Aviators, including former Senator Rip Gooch. The panel discussion will be facilitated by Joseph Onijala of Spirit AeroSystems. This event is free to the public.
