Friday, the Serendipity Chorale of Fairfield County returns to Temple Shearith Israel (46 Peaceable St., Ridgefield. Monday, kids ages 5 through 11 are invited to the Westport Historical Society (25 Avery Place, Westport. Mon., Jan. 21, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. $60) where Westport artist Roe Halper will help them create watercolors on the theme of peace, unity and understanding, and share her own story of meeting Dr. King in Westport. Also on Monday, Dr. Yohuro Williams of Fairfield University will deliver a lecture on Black Power in Southern Connecticut at the Fairfield Museum and History Center (370 Beach Road, Fairfield.
