    Julia (O’Hara) Smith,  88, Quecreek, died Aug. 28, 2011, at her home with her children by her side. Born Dec. 10, 1922, in Nemacolin. Daughter of Michael and Martha (Borsos) O’Hara. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 41 years, Martin Smith, on July 6, 1989, brothers George, Michael and Steve O’Hara, sisters Marie Mikolich and Pauline Urban, niece Elizabeth Sharpe and nephews John Urban and Edward Zuravnsky. Survived by: children Dona J. married to Gordon Reynolds, Boswell; and Richard M. Smith, with whom Julia resided; Grandchildren Gina Reynolds, Berwyn, Ill.; Christopher Reynolds, Boswell; brother Charles O’Hara and wife Dolores, Cumming, Ga.; Sister Margaret married to Joseph Bocsy, Columbus, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was employed by former Somerset Shirt & Pajama Factory. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, where she was a member of the All Saints Shawl Ministry & Rosary Makers. Julia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, taking walks with her children, sewing, crocheting and knitting. Viewing from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell, where a vigil for the deceased will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Chapel, Acosta, with the Rev. Fr. Justin A. Ratajczak, OFM Conv. celebrant. Committal Somerset County Memorial Park.
