  3. Three busted for meth in Lancaster County

An observant off-duty cop helped bust three people trying to build a meth lab. Around 10:40 am Thursday, the off-duty officer saw someone throw something from their car into the field off the 800 block of Amosite Road. The officer got the registration number of the car as it sped away with three people inside. He then saw that it was a cylinder tank that was thrown into the field. The tank smelled of Ammonia. The roadway was blocked off for several hours until the Pennsylvania State Police Clandestine Lab Response Team responded to secure the tank.
