Some of the country's biggest conservatives are in Rosemont, for the Conservative Political Action Conference, or C-PAC.
Former Pennsylvania Senator and GOP presidential nominee Rick Santorum is headlining the event.
CPAC Chicago is taking place at the Donald E. Stephen Convention Center.
According to a news release, the location was chosen strategically by organizers because they wanted to
bring "the fight for the future of America directly to President Barack Obama’s backyard."
