On July 6, 2012, the Lord placed in his hands Joyce Ann Johnson Corum, loving widow of the late Charles Corum and loving mother of three daughters.
She was an inspiring, sincere, well-versed woman that loved and devoted most of her time to her family, her friends, her church, her beautiful Clark County farm, her wonderful flower and vegetable gardens, and watching her efforts grow.
She is survived by three daughters, Jodie (Jim) Hartley of Jacksonville, Fla., Sherrie (Dow) Corum of Winchester and Tina (Michael) Thompson of Lexington; two brothers, Larry (Marilyn) Johnson and Donald (Gloria) Johnson of Winchester; two sisters, Debbie Willoughby and Peggy Brookshire of Winchester; six grandchildren, Daniel Walker, Lee Ann Dow and Jake, Ben, Sarah and Julia Hartley; and four great-grandchildren, Caleb Walker, Riley Charles Walker, Cody W. Thompson and Domatov Mansour.
She also leaves behind her family members, friends and her loving church family of Durbin Memorial Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Ray Van Kamp and Pastor Michael York.
Burial will be in the Athens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 9, at Scobee Funeral Home.
