The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is teaming up with an archaeologist from Indiana University to search for hidden treasures on the ocean floor. Eli Lilly and Company Foundation is giving the museum $1 million to partner with Charles Beeker.

The money will support expeditions in the Dominican Republic. It will also be used to bring real artifacts to the Children's Museum and to give visitors hands-on lessons in archaeology. The new permanent exhibit will open in June. The "National Geographic Treasures of the Earth" attraction will allow visitors to explore Egypt, China and the Caribbean.
