Severe thunderstorm warnings, watches expire for Central Indiana

11:10 p.m.: Tornado Warnings have expired; Watches and Warnings for most of Central Indiana expire as well

10:48 p.m.:
A Tornado Warning has been issued for Bartholomew, Decatur and Jennings counties until 11:15 p.m.

9:47 p.m.: 
Urban and small stream flood advisory remains in effect for southeastern Boone, southern Hamilton, western Hancock, northern Johnson, Marion and northeastern Morgan counties until 12:30 a.m.

9:45 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Decatur, Johnson, Rush and Shelby counties until 10:30 p.m.

9:13 p.m.:
 Duke Energy reports 4,369 power outages; 130 IPL customers affected

9 p.m.: XFEST at Klipsch postponed due to weather

8:41 p.m.:
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is issued for Boone, Hamilton and Marion counties until 9:30 p.m.

7:06 p.m.: Patrons at Greekfest have been evacuated.

4:37 p.m.:
The Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for most of Central Indiana has been extended to 11 p.m.

1:45 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Hancock, Henry and Madison counties until 2:30 p.m.

1:12 p.m.:
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for the following Central Indiana counties: Delaware, Henry, Madison and Randolph.  The warning will be in effect until 2 p.m.

12:19 p.m.:
  The Carmel Police Department says all patrons attending the BMW Championship have been asked to go to their vehicles and wait until the storms pass through the area. 

11:45 p.m.: Broad Ripple High School has moved the starting time of Friday’s football game against Tindley from 7 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. due to the forecast of potentially severe weather Friday evening.

11:40 a.m.:
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for much of Central Indiana Friday.

The watch will be in effect until 6 p.m.

The storms have the potential to produce damaging winds, large hail, isolated tornadoes, dangerous lightning and brief heavy rainfall.

The greatest potential for storms will be Friday afternoon and early evening.
