( October 8, 2012 ) A pit bull is removed from a Detroit home by Detroit Police after it mauled a 3-week old baby girl who died of her injuries, on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012. Detroit police say a pit bull killed the baby after her mother put her car seat on the floor of a house.
