What a difference a century makes -- we've gone from the hideous Nosferatu to the hunky Edward Cullen, the guy all the girls (and more than a few boys) want. Sure, he's technically a killing machine, but he only eats animals! He obsessively protects the woman he loves! He's tortured by his feelings of desire, but won't do the deed until he gets married! And instead of burning up in the sun, he just breaks out in sparkles! |
